Wedding Inspirations is proud to announce that the already popular glossy magazine is getting a fresh new face from 2010.

Respected magazine journalist and former editor, Jacquie Myburgh, takes over the magazine as editorial director and she and her team are already hard at work to take Wedding Inspirations to another level.

The first new step will be to take Wedding Inspirations into the consumer market, which means the magazine will no longer be a freebie but appear on shelf in major retailers. The magazine will be published quarterly, the first issue appearing on shelves in March 2010. This is exciting news for all advertisers who know that when a reader buys a magazine, she turns into an active consumer and will definitely read it and share the contents with her friends.

Currently in talks with a major distributor to market and distribute Wedding Inspirations, announcements about the official print quantity and distribution footprint will follow in the next few weeks.

The editorial content of Wedding Inspirations will also be fine-tuned to create an irresistible resource for every South African bride.

The “bridesmaid in her handbag”, Wedding Inspirations will be more than a magazine. It will be a comprehensive wedding planner containing all the useful information and contacts that a bride needs to plan her wedding.

Categories such as dresses, rings, accessories, venues, flowers, cakes, photography, gift registries, lingerie, honeymoons and makeup tips will be a big focus, continuing to offer the bride plenty of inspiring ideas in terms of determining the look and feel of her big day.

The magazine will continue with financial planning for married life and ensure that readers are prepared for all aspects of this exciting new phase of their lives.

Our hope is that the handbag size Wedding Inspirations will stay in a bride’s bag for the duration of her wedding planning phase and that it will be the information source that she turns to on a regular basis.
