Kick Off recognised for publishing excellence

The Media24 Magazine Excellence Awards took place on Tuesday, 12 June at the Table Bay Hotel in Camps Bay, Cape Town. Kick Off soccer magazine’s On Target division was awarded the Media 24 Magazine Excellence Award in the Innovation category for The Official Guide of the 2006 FIFA World Cup. Nick Said, Editor at On Target, accepted the award. Kick Off and Touchline Media, on behalf of Media24, secured the Africa rights to produce the official FIFA media for the 2006 World Cup. With an eye on future business , Kick Off produced a high quality publication that included important information on all competing nations, plus world exclusive interviews with some of the very top stars. Most importantly, it helped forge a good relationship with FIFA, and suggested ways forward for future business.
