Asset

Published: 15 May 2012

Asset, a new, interactive digital publication for the commercial property industry, has just launched its first issue. The publication represents a pioneering effort in the world of new media through its crossover between the publication itself and the eProp.co.za website and e-newsletter.

Asset
Asset is a monthly digi-mag aimed at readers in the commercial property industry. Working in association with eProp.co.za, an established commercial property website and e-newsletter with over 35 000 subscribers, Asset’s goal is to deliver current and relevant insights into the workings of the property world.

Asset is an independent publication run by a consortium of experienced publishing professionals with years of exposure to the commercial property industry. The team’s ability to source editorial across a broad range of topics, and their established relationships with industry professionals, mean that readers will be provided with credible news and sound market intelligence and research.

Sales and marketing director Tony Korsten says of the new publication: “The reading of magazines on either desktops or ubiquitous mobile devices is fast becoming the norm, and as broadband speeds improve and people get used to reading on a screen, the growth of digital magazines will continue to climb. By publishing digitally, Asset is in a unique position of having an extremely high circulation for any South African B2B magazine. This is good for advertisers, public relations companies, media planners and of course our readers.”

Asset’s target readers comprise a wide audience across the commercial property spectrum in South Africa and a variety of other African countries, and include:
• Institutional property owners including listed and unlisted property funds
• Private property investors
• Property developers
• Property and built environment professionals
• Property services companies and professionals
• Product and service providers to the built environment
• Research companies
• Research providers
• Financial institutions
• Corporate occupiers
