The renewed and inclusive
Eat Out brand combines
Eat In and
Eat Out content to provide users and readers the best possible food experience.
Says Anelde Greeff, content director of both brands: “With the incorporation of
Eat In elements, the renewed
Eat Out brand is richer in content and experience, and incorporates anything and everything to do with food.”
Greeff recently broke the news that there will be two additional sections to the new website, namely
Stores & Markets and
Recipes & Chefs. Users will be able to search for stores and markets as they do for restaurants, and selected news and features will appear in the
News Flash. Delicious recipes will also be a regular feature highlighted on the homepage for easy access.
Eat In visitors will be redirected to the new
Eat Out website and offered an invitation to subscribe to the weekly newsletter, join the
Eat Out Facebook page (
www.facebook.com/EatOutMag), follow
Eat Out on
Twitter (@Eat_Out) and keep up with the brand on Pinterest (
Pinterest.com/eatout).
Eat Out and
Eat In fans can currently get involved with the merger via
Facebook. The
Eat Out team is inviting fans to participate by sending their ideas for a slogan for the new
Eat Out before 31 May. There is an interactive voting mechanism and the winning slogan will be announced in the week commencing 11 June 2012. The new iPad is on the table as the prize for the slogan selected by the
Eat Out editorial team.
Visit
www.eatout.co.za and enter the competition before the end of May 2012 on
