This week on Khetha, focus will be on how to apply and register for universities

Published: 22 June 2012

This week on Khetha, a radio partnership between SAQA, DHET and SABC Education, focus will be on encouraging young people to start applying and registering at Universities now.

The topic is set to focus on informing young people about post school options and the importance of applying early for these opportunities. The topic is important for learners in grade 9 to 12, parents, adult learners, teachers and the unemployed. Learning at a university provides young people with an expansive overview and theoretical grounding in the field of study. University study is more about developing research, problem solving skills and relevant theory equipping graduates with the right skills to create new knowledge.

The expert from Khetha will share with listeners what is expected from young people for their registration forms to be accepted and talk about various opportunities available by registering early.
