Whereas in previous weeks, new arrivals to Upville were immune to nomination, it’s now open season as the housemates can nominate anyone as their quest for the $300 000 prize goes solo.
Once
Big Brother had revealed the results of the nomination sessions, head of house, Keagan headed to the Diary Room to make his ‘save and replace’ decision, saving himself and putting Uganda’s Kyle up in his place.
Everyone but Talia nominated Lady May, citing various reasons from the fact that she is cagey to her perceived antisocial behaviour. Prezzo nominated Wati because of the way he behaves once he’s had a few drinks.
Kyle and Alex both nominated Prezzo – the former because he felt the Kenyan was overprotective of Goldie and the latter because he felt his countryman was “too selfish”. Keagan also nominated the Kenyan because he felt he had a “hidden agenda” and that he couldn’t trust him.
Jannette nominated Keagan for the sole reason that he could save himself. Goldie also nominated the South African, citing him as the biggest instigator of trouble in the house. Wati nominated Goldie because he felt he really couldn’t understand her strategy, while Keitta also named the Nigerian as one of his choices because he felt she was “acting for the cameras”.
Talia nominated Jannette and Alex just so they could get a feel for the nervousness which comes from being up for eviction – though she did also say she had at the back of her mind, the fact that they had other countrymates in the house. Talia was the only housemate who didn’t pick up a single nomination this week.
Lady May nominated Kyle as she thinks he’s a “gossipmonger” who gossips like “a confused patient”. She also nominated Keitta because she feels he is “devilish”.
Once everyone had had their say, Lady May had picked up the most nominations with 8, followed by Prezzo with 3 and Goldie & Keagan with 2 apiece.
