Fielli and Simmons announces sponsorship of Khwezela Rekindle

Based on the profile and following already ratcheted by the new talk show, designer furniture importer and retailer, Fielli, and world leading mattress manufacturer Simmons, have signed up as the lead sponsors for Khwezela Rekindle with Zanele Mbokazi, firmly supporting the show’s directive of building strong families and healthy relationships.

Having officially launched with an opening sequence recorded at the Fielli showrooms in Woodmead on 24 of June, the new Advertiser Funded Program (AFP) and World Gospel Powerhouse initiative, Khwezela Rekindle with Zanele Mbokazi is brought to local audiences through the SABC1 channel. The new media platform is being marketed under the sub-genre of empowering television.

The Kwezela Rekindle team, its VIP guests, and Fielli and Simmons celebrated the new partnership at the Fielli showroom in Woodmead, kick-starting the initiative with a touch of class and elegance.

The informative and spiritually uplifting new talk show focuses on issues close to many South Africans hearts including overcoming adversity, finding one’s inner strength and source of inspiration. Mbokazi covers topics of value to both female and male audiences, with a strong focus on inter-personal relationships, in settings geared to create an intimate space where guests can openly share their struggles, journeys and enlightenment.

Mbokazi will use her own personal experiences as an author, inspirational speaker, divorcée, mother and successful business woman to provide insight, guidance and principles, packaged in nuggets of wisdom coupled with inspirational messages and Gospel truths. She will also draw from her key guests or ‘voices of reason’ to add variety and flare to the show.

The series of talk shows will be supported by books, seminars and eight national spiritual roadshow events between July and October, hosted by Mbokazi. The Khwezela Rekindle events provide an opportunity for the both Fielli and Simmons to engage and share their latest products directly with thousands of consumers across the country. At the events, Zanele and her regular guests will interact with viewers, giving SABC 1, Fielli and Simmons excellent leveraging opportunities.

Mbokazi is a well-established brand in South Africa, made popular through her radio presence on Ukhozi FM and television programs Gospel Gold and Recharge with Zanele M, since the mid-90s to date. Mbokazi is also the founder and the president of the most successful SABC Crown Gospel Music Awards, celebrating its 5th anniversary this year, is respected both in the business and rural community and seen by ordinary people as a visionary and a noteworthy businesswoman.

Kwezela Rekindle with Zanele Mbokazi broadcasts on SABC1 every Sunday at 17:30, with the show’s language content comprising 80% Zulu, 10% English and 10% other African dialects.
