Ukhozi FM Gospel Music Festival only two weeks away

The biggest gospel event of the year, the Ukhozi FM Gospel Music Festival, which is taking place at Coca-Cola Park, is only two weeks away.

The biggest gospel event of the year, the Ukhozi FM Gospel Music Festival is only two weeks away.

Ukhozi FM, in partnership with EMI Live and Big Fish will bring out the biggest gospel acts in South Africa, including Rebecca, Lundi, S’phiwe Thobekile, Hlengiwe, Sipho Makhabane, Solly Mahlangu, S’fiso, Sechaba, Keke, Israel Mosehla, Winnie Mashaba and Pastor Ncanda. These gospel music heavyweights will be supported by a number of up-and-coming, talented acts in what is sure to be an unprecedented explosion of faith.

“The excitement is definitely building, the artists are ready and the fans can look forward to an exciting spectacle of what will be a faith filled, insightful and fulfilling day of praise with artists that they adore”, says Pino Di Benedetto MD of EMI Music.

With official sponsors like Vodacom and SABC1 and emcees from Ukhozi FM, the Ukhozi FM Gospel Music Festival will feature the best dancers, sound and lighting rig in addition to a special hour-long performance by Rebecca which is sure to have the crowd on their feet.

Keeping with the spirit of faith and warm-heartedness, part of the proceeds from the Ukhozi FM Gospel Music Festival will go to the Arnie Williams Foundation for Abused Women and Children, who do a sterling job in catering for the needs of the abused.

Tickets are available from Computicket outlets; and priced at R80, R100 and R130 each. They will also be obtainable at the venue on performance day.

There is limited parking available at Coca Cola Park and the adjacent Johannesburg Stadium at a cost of R50 attainable from Computicket outlets. Gates open at 08.00 with the event starting at 10.00. and ending
at 19:00.
