Dragons' Den is coming to BBC Knowledge

Published: 13 August 2012

Evan Davis presents, Dragons' Den, a series in which entrepreneurs have three minutes to pitch their business ideas to five multi-millionaires potentially willing to invest their own cash if they can be convinced the proposition is a winner. Dragons' Den will be broadcast Mondays to Thursdays at 19:00 on BBC Knowledge, channel 251 on DStv.

Series one sees inventions that include Charles Ejogo's Umbrolly Vending Machine - aimed at commuters caught in a spontaneous downfall, Hugh Gwyther's Wonderland - a high culture magazine aimed at men and women with distinguished tastes, and Graham Whitby’s Dream Machine which rocks a baby to sleep.

In series two, the dragons are faced with an almost impossible to solve a puzzle, a motorised surfboard, a new board game and a children’s meditation business.

Who will be savvy enough to catch the Dragons’ eyes and score some serious investment and who will go home with nothing but a dent in their dreams?

Dragons' Den is set to be broadcast from Mondays to Thursdays at 19:00 on BBC Knowledge, channel 251 on DStv. The first episode will be broadcast on Monday, 20 August.
