Jmaxx has been a performer and artist for several years – being equally adept as a vocalist and dancer. Now, after years of working on his music locally, the newly-formed Many Moods Music recognised his talent and signed him as their first international artist.

Globally grown and building a roster of local and international stars, Many Moods Music is a New York-based Record label engaged in scouting, developing, and marketing new independent talent.

Launched in May, the company came into the world kicking and screaming. Signing Jmaxx as their first international artist is a huge tip of the hat to the singer. Many Moods Music’s catalogue consists of dance, R&ampB, Hip-Hop and Gospel music by some of the top indie acts around the globe.

While Jmaxx’s single Born to be Famous has been released previously in South Africa – it has now been remixed and remastered courtesy of the Many Moods team. Five time Grammy Award nominated (and two-time winning) producer, Craig Bauer has worked his magic to turn the song in a juggernaut house hit, while the equally skilled producer, Kriss Young has mixed a kicking electro-version of the same track.

Jmaxx will be jetting off to the US for a mini-tour to showcase these tracks and some new work from his upcoming album Kiss of the Spider at the end of September.

“I am so excited and happy to be launching these projects in the United States – I look forward to my performances and the journey ahead,” said Jmaxx.
