East Coast Radio (ECR) has appointed Mzuvele Mthethwa as its new managing director, effective Monday, 1 April. Mthethwa brings knowledge and expertise, having spent nearly two decades at ECR, latterly as the station's head of finance, responsible for strategic planning, corporate governance and financial management. He is also a member of the Kagiso Media Radio Exco team. 

HOT 102.7FM has announced that it has picked up seven nominations for the 2023 New York Festivals Radio Awards in the United States. This follows launching as a new Johannesburg-based commercial radio station in July 2021.
