Highlights of the week, which runs from Tuesday, 1 to Friday, 4 December, includes the South African documentary, Unearthed; an important and relevant look at the effects of fracking in the USA in order to understand what this new method of gas extraction could mean for the semi-arid Karoo.

Another noteworthy film is 2015’s This Changes Everything, a look at seven communities around the world, based on the proposition that we can seize the crisis of climate change to transform our failed economic system into something radically better.

AfriDocs #ClimateChangeWeek also includes the films God is Rain and The Weather Gods from international Emmy Award-winning director Rehad Desai.

AfriDocs will screen nightly at 19:55 Channel [ED], on DStv channel 190 and GoTV channel 65. From Thursday, 10 December, AfriDocs returns to its weekly schedule.
