Entry is free but attendees are encouraged to bring a toy which will be delivered to three selected charity organisations after the event: Child Welfare Tshwane, Heartbeat and Hanna Charities.

Jacaranda FM’s general manager, Kevin Fine, says; “With our annual Carols by Candlelight event we hope to spread some festive cheer, not only to our loyal listeners but to those less fortunate too. Last year we were able to collect over 25 000 toys for children who wouldn’t have otherwise received a Christmas present. We hope to collect a lot more this year through our listeners’ generosity.”
