There were 22 business and entrepreneur finalists voted as the best in their categories by the businesses within the region at the event, narrowed down from the original 74 nominations that RCCI received.

Northern Joburg Media made it to the finals and were announced the overall winner in the print media category at the awards, receiving a Gold certificate. The dynamic Northern Joburg Media team were up against a well-known local community newspaper and a business magazine and shone all the way through.

"I am truly honoured to receive this unexpected award and recognition for the work we do. The first website, MyFourways, was started three years ago and it's been just over a year since we took over another nine websites and registered the company as Northern Joburg Media," said Danielle Dooley, owner of Northern Joburg Media. "We will continue to give the same and exceed the services we provide to the community and charity organisations we support. We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who nominated us, as well as to RCCI and FNB."

Northern Joburg Media sponsored R10 000 worth of advertising to the five platinum winners.
