The event was staged at the luxurious Trou aux Biches resort in Mauritius and hosted 80 delegates from 16 countries with licensees flying in from countries as diverse as Qatar, Singapore, Pakistan, Zimbabwe, and the United Arab Emirates.

To open the conference, VWV produced a multicultural ‘welcome’ video, rich in colours, spectacular sights and dramatic sounds shot on location in seven of the participating countries. In addition to the 10-minute opening video production, VWV was instrumental in developing a theme, a WWL logo, and the look and feel of the conference. The theme was introduced in the video production and set the tone for what would unfold. VWV was also responsible for producing and directing the strategic messaging for the conference, including all the presentations.

VWV’s executive producer, Chantelle Hurford, said, “VWV’s relationship with Nando’s dates back 15 years but at the end of the day I believe landing this particular job was directly linked to our strategic conferencing capabilities and a successful track record. Once again we fulfilled our mandate and pulled out all the stops to make sure delegates had the time of their lives. Nando’s is a great client to work with – they’re radically passionate about their brand and this is evident in everything they do.”

Guy Carter, marketing manager at Nando’s said, “The VWV team is made up of consummate professionals who really opened our eyes as to what could be achieved. Their creative talents were able to guide us to produce a conference that had our delegates enthralled.”
