Homecoming Revolution creates fragrance that smells of home
Marketing 18
The Homecoming Revolution has created the first ever fragrance range that smells literally of South African experiences: Highveld Thunderstorm, Zulu Leather and Karoo Stoep.
Called ‘Scents of Home’, the perfume range was flown to London to lure South African expats home in a unique sampling activation. Fragrance wands doubled as wristbands for the respondents to take away.
67% of the respondents said the smells had stirred in them their nostalgia for South Africa, and they wanted to return home.
The campaign was created by Toni-Lee Cheiman and Jonathan Campbell of allvertising agency, Morrisjones.
