Pistorius' mass appeal cuts across various age groups, just like the Oscars® Award Show speaks to all audiences. Pistorius, who is riding high on his wins at the recent Olympics and Paraylmics, says that he is looking forward to the partnership with M-Net Movies and the promoting of the 28 Days of Oscars drive: “I am really excited to see how the campaign is received. I had a lot of fun shooting it, as it was totally different from the norm. I’m sure the public will enjoy it as much as I did”.

The Blade Runner has an array of achievements to his name, with the most recent including winning gold in the 400m individual and 100m relay finals and silver in the 200m finals at the 2012 London Paralympics. He has just been confirmed to race at the Sydney and Perth installments of the 2013 Qantas Australian Athletics Tour.
