Now, with more than 12 years of experience in her field, she has worked for some of South Africa’s most well-known production houses and television channels.
Velelo has previously worked as a senior video editor for SABC’s
Take 5; e.tv; M-Net Africa; and M-Net South Africa, working on shows such
Carte Blanche, special broadcasts such as the
Oscars,
The X Factor,
American Idols,
The Voice and the Madiba Tribute channel, to name but a few. Her most recent stint was with Mzansi Magic’s
Doctors on Call.
Hailing from the Eastern Cape, Velelo graduated from City Varsity Film Television School in 2002 as a film editor with a National Diploma in Television & Film Production Specialising in Editing.
