Mediterranean Delicacies and Glenfiddich Whisky flavour fusion at Private Edition tapas

Inspired by Mediterranean Gastronomy, chef Warwick King of The Bay Hotel brought to life flavour fusions with Mediterranean Delicacies and Glenfiddich Whisky at the exclusive Private Edition tapas and whisky pairing evening on Thursday, 26 February.
With an ocean backdrop, Traders Bar at the Bay Hotel buzzed with a mix of South Africa's most recognided personalities from celebrity chefs Jenny Morris, Angie Boyd and Peter Ayub to comedian Marc Lottering, TV Presenters Mark Bayly and Katlego Maboe, Radio show hosts Tammy B and Tracey Lange, model Roxy Louw and Mauay Thai World Champion Quentin Chong, to name but a few.
A five course tasting menu showcasing Medi Deli’s expansive range of products was elegantly paired with Glenfiddich’s finest, whilst guests offered fruitful feedback and cuisine concepts for incorporating these items into some of their own well-known dishes.
Nash Music added a wonderful auditory ambience to the culinary occasion as the sun set against the horizon, before guests departed with personalized bottles of Glenfiddich and gorgeous gifting from Mediterranean Delicacies and Private Edition Magazine.
