Atmosphere Communications promotes one of its own as new director

Lauren Volmink joined Atmosphere nine years ago and has since gained extensive experience across both brand and corporate communications in the beauty, fashion, liquor, leisure and financial services industries. Volmink currently manages some of Atmosphere’s core financial services clients with Sanlam and Santam in her portfolio.

"Lauren has played a leadership role in establishing Atmosphere’s track record as the consultancy in the country. She is a strategic thinker and passionate about the power of communications," says Nicola Nel, managing director at Atmosphere.

Volmink holds a National Diploma in Public Relations Management from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology, and has also completed courses in strategy and internet marketing through the University of Cape Town Graduate School of Business. She is also a member of the Public Relations Institute of South Africa Consultants' Chapter.
