The limited season - which starts on Tuesday, 24 March - will now run until Sunday, 26 April. Tickets are moving quickly and fans are encouraged to book now to avoid disappointment.

Mamma Mia! is an original musical love story featuring 22 of ABBA’s greatest hits including: Dancing Queen, Take A Chance On Me and The Winner Takes It All. The storytelling magic of ABBA’s timeless classics propels this enchanting tale of love, laughter and friendship unfolding on a Greek island paradise. On the eve of her wedding a daughter’s quest to discover the identity of her father brings three men from her mother’s past back to the island they last visited 20 years ago.

This is the first time in 10 years that the International Tour production of Mamma Mia! will be performing in Johannesburg. The hugely successful English-language International Tour premiered in Dublin in September 2004. The tour has to-date visited 77 cities in 36 countries and been seen by over 4.5 million people.

Over 54 million people around the world have fallen in love with the characters, the story and the music that make Mamma Mia! the ultimate feel-good show. Mamma Mia! The Movie staring Meryl Streep and Pierce Brosnan, is still the highest worldwide grossing live-action musical film of all time.

With music and lyrics by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus, Mamma Mia! is written by Catherine Johnson and directed by Phyllida Lloyd. Mamma Mia! includes choreography by Anthony Van Laast, production design by Mark Thompson, lighting design by Howard Harrison, sound design by Andrew Bruce and Bobby Aitken, and musical supervision, additional material and arrangements by Martin Koch.
