After investigating what essential items the home needed, the Kaelo team dropped by unexpectedly with a bakkie full of non-perishable and perishable food stuffs and toys. The team also spent some valuable time with the care givers and playing with the children.

Dimphonyana Tsa Lapeng started as a nursery and pre-school catering for children from the ages of six months to six years and in 2004 expanded its services by creating a place of safety for abused children affected by HIV/AIDS as well as children and mothers at risk. Dimphonyana Tsa Lapeng is currently home to over 50 children, 32 of whom live there permanently and 35 are temporary residents from the ages of six to 23 years. The home is completely self-funded and was started by the Teffo family who are residents of Olivenhoutbosch.

Kaelo Engage will continue to support this home by rallying the team to collect much needed books for the library and book club.

To continue the spirit of giving back Kaelo has nominated sister company, Frontiers Sports and Entertainment to partake in the RAK campaign.
