Following on from the sell-out success of last year’s series that saw scores of enthusiastic diners meet some of their favourite food personalities and kitchen talents, Riffel will once again host an impressive line-up of local stars, each as passionate about all things culinary as he is.

Get up close and personal with Riffel and his guests as they share their culinary secrets and behind-the-scenes anecdotes, offering insight into their lives in the kitchen while preparing a gourmet four-course menu. The Reuben Invites evenings are priced at R395 per person, excluding beverages.

Says Riffel: "Many people are under the impression that chefs are so competitive that we never compare notes with each other but nothing could be further from the truth. Because of our crazy hours, chefs often end up socialising with each other. We love sharing new producers and ingredient finds, we all have war stories to tell, and invariably we’ll give each other advice on one or other element of life in our kitchens. I’m really looking forward to another year of sharing our stories, our food and plenty of wine with our guests".
