This team of experts will represent the media and advertising industry through the various AMASA activities and portfolios by applying their individual views, expertise, time and passion to evoke positive change and professionalism in the Advertising Media industry. The various portfolios will be allocated to various members at the first new committee meeting and planning for the next year’s project shall commence. 

The newly voted in committee will consist of the following industry professionals: 

  • Wayne Bischoff, GM of Sales at Trudon - chairperson;
  • Wayne Bishop, MD of PHD;
  • Gordon Patterson, business director at Omnicon Media Group;
  • Mpho Maseko, head of Marketing and Corporate Communications at SENTECH;
  • Ilsa Grabe, Business Unit head at Carat;
  • Michelle Randall, account manager at MXIT; 
  • Ricardo Lopes (Media and Marketing Manager, Kellogg Company;
  • Tsatsi Hamilton Rankapole, portfolio manager, Mediamark;
  • Gia Conte-Patel, account manager at Primall Media;
  • Mauro Black, GM of Sales, Provantage Media Group;
  • Parmeshan Moodliar, key accounts manager, NAB; and
  • Quinton Scholes, Group head of Sales at CNBC Africa.

Wayne Bischoff, 2014’s appointed chairperson who will continue in the role for two more rules, is delighted with the final selection for 2015 and grateful to those who applied, nominated and voted.

The new committee was voted in at the most recent AMASA Forum on Wednesday, 8 April, which was also the event platform for the AMASA AGM, presented by the Bischoff, followed by a highly stimulating discussion and update around South Africa’s Digital Migration to Digital Terrestrial Television by Solly Mokoetle from the Department of Communication.
