Wola Nani’s book sale is a curated event offering not just current best-seller fiction but also cult, classic and covetable tomes for bibliophiles, collectors and passionate readers.

In 2015, there are strong showings of art books, architecture and design, children’s, armchair travel, esoteric, business, poetry and plays, historical fiction, vintage detective, contemporary crime and thriller, sci-fi. Biography and non-fiction will also be on sale, including feminism, philosophy, history, SA current affairs and popular science.  Devotees of quality fiction will be well catered for with a wide range of Pulitzer, Booker and Nobel prize winning authors.

Equally impressive is the NGO’s selection of hard-to-find CDs and DVDs for movie and music enthusiasts.

About Wola Nani

Wola Nani (Xhosa for ‘embrace’) is a non-profit organisation established in 1994 devoted to helping people living with HIV and Aids to help themselves as well as to bring relief to the communities challenged by the HIV crisis. Formed against a background of economic restrictions on welfare spending and a big increase in the number of HIV and Aids cases, Wola Nani introduced programmes to help HIV positive people in the local communities cope with the emotional and financial strains brought about by HIV and Aids.
