The pumping Turn Up Truck has since set off on a national road-trip, and will make over 50 stops at different locations across South Africa; hosting surprise parties and turning it up with music, fun and entertainment with Mzansi's favourite artists.

Mzoli's and Malusi's in KwaLanga, Cash's Place in Gugulethu and White House in Strand in the Western Cape were the most recent venues visited by the Turn Up Tour over the past weekend and Cape locals turned up in numbers.

"The atmosphere was electrifying and full of young potential - it was great to see the true CAN DO! attitude that Mzansi possesses," says Alexandra Bouwer, marketing manager for CAN DO!. "The Turn Up Truck provides a mobile platform for more people to see their favourite artists across the country in more remote regions."

As a part of the CAN DO! Turn Up Tour, South African Artist and Development Association (SAADA) auditions and workshops are being held across the country prior to the different pop-up parties. “CAN DO! has been supporting talent development for the past three years; young local artists have been identified and moulded to reach their potential and become true stars. We are now partnering with SAADA to build even more artists,” says Bouwer.

The tour is in full swing as different pop-up parties have taken place in Gauteng, the North West and Western Cape already. The next SAADA auditions and workshop will be held in Limpopo on 23 and 24 May 2015 respectively and the next CAN DO! Turn Up Tour party will take place that same weekend.

If you are a prospective venue and stock CANS you could be one of the places we turn up next. Tell us about your venue or next event and it might be you. Just mail us [email protected].
