CEO of uShaka Marine World, Stella Khumalo, says that adding these two awards to uShaka’s growing number of accolades is testament to the fact that Africa’s largest marine theme park is a major draw card for both international and local visitors.

Top Choice ranks attractions, amusement parks and destinations according to reviews in different Asian countries. uShaka netted this award after receiving positive reviews from Asian visitors and judges of this Asian ranking system.

“We thank all of our staff for their contribution in making uShaka a Top Choice destination for 2015,” Khumalo says.

Now in its 11th year, the 2015 Sunday Times Generation Next Brand Survey Awards, reveal what the South African youth aged between 8 and 22, deem cool. uShaka has been recognised for the fifth consecutive year.

”We are delighted to have been acknowledged and voted for by the youth of South Africa and we will continue to ensure we offer a world of leisure, fun, entertainment and excitement while boasting a safe, secure and clean environment with non-stop entertainment extending from the day-time operations of Sea World, Wet ‘n Wild, Dangerous Creatures, uShaka Kids World and uShaka Beach, to the night time festivities of the Village Walk,” Khumalo says.

She added that uShaka always works hard to ensure that it keeps up with the times through introducing new features to the park which continues to make it an exciting visit for all generations and nationalities.
