Renowned lyrical masters of this country’s thriving hip hop scene, the judges of The Hustle will be focussed on finding an undiscovered sensation who boasts the complete package – the sharpest and most memorable word skills, fresh and original beats, with the drive and determination to back up their talent.

"Our judges have achieved commercial, critical and popular success – and that’s incredibly impressive in the competitive music industry," says Nkateko Mabaso, director for Local Interest Channels at M-Net.

AKA is a three-time Channel O award winner (along with armfuls of other accolades) and was just nominated in the Best International Act: Africa category at the 2015 BET Awards adding even more momentum to a fast developing global career. Khuli Chana, 'The MotswakOrginator', is also no stranger to applause having earned plenty of top chart action for tracks like Sthandwa Sam over his storied career. Finally, Tumi Molekane shot to fame through his work with Tumi and the Volume but, since 2012, has been a successful solo rapper and poet of extraordinary talent. The artistic trio will be accompanied by the vibrant television presenter and radio DJ Sam Lehoko (affectionately known as Sammy Sosa) as the series host as they embark on the quest to find the undisputed hustler.

"The Hustle is guaranteed to be entertaining. The judges are no strangers to the challenges and successes of a building a powerful career and know just what it takes to get to and stay on top in a fast-changing, demanding industry. They will be bringing that expertise and more to their role as judges," says Mabaso.

Just who will win the attention of judges and become the ultimate hustler? All will be revealed when The Hustle debuts on Tuesday, 14 July 2015 on Vuzu AMP, channel 114 on DStv.
