The News24 marketing team, along with Ogilvy Cape Town, created an industrial print set-up at the corner of William Nicol Drive and Sloane Street in Bryanston. As the News24 editorial team in Cape Town fed through the latest headlines to the Johnnesburg team, they printed them onto A2 headline posters and erected them onto a single street pole.

In one hour, the teams managed to put up 20 headlines, and after 12 hours an astounding 136 posters were printed and produced, showing just how much faster News24 produces news every day.

"This activation was certainly a first in South Africa and an exciting and effective way to demonstrate just how fast and fluid News24’s app puts the world’s events in the palm of your hand," says 24.com head of marketing, Nadia Boucher Coombe.
