To achieve this goal, the World’s Best Pan has teamed up with 360-degree communication agency Jam Media, private chef to the stars, Neill Anthony of the SABC3 show Neill Anthony-Private Chef as well as Banks Kitchen Boutique, Checkers Sea Point and Good Hope FM.

“The idea is to launch this campaign on Wednesday, 8 July at Banks Kitchen Boutique in Sea Point where we will commence soup making with the help of community volunteers, heading up by chef Neill Anthony, the soup will then be distributed over the next few days to a number of charities in Cape Town,” said Kolja Stürmer, owner of KRDM Innovative Homeware, the sole South African distributor of AMT Worlds Best Pan.

Local community members are urged to donate much needed winter essentials such as blankets and socks which can be dropped at Banks Kitchen Boutique in Sea Point between Wednesday, 8 July and Saturday, 18 July where Good Hope FM will be broadcasting daily.

"We were able to facilitate a product endorsement deal between Neill Anthony for AMT’s World’s Best Pan for two months which just happened to coincide with Madiba Day and the rest was history really. We are very blessed and excited about having Good Hope FM on board as a media partner on this and are all looking forward to rolling up our sleeves and cooking some soup,” said event organiser Jess Mouneimne of Jam Media.

Charities include: Christine Revell Children’s Home, Leileibloem House, Carehaven Centre, Rape Crises CT Trust and Nonceba Centre to name a few.

About World’s Best Pan:

This range of cookware used and loved by Neill Anthony, keeps its shape under all circumstances – even during extreme temperature changes thanks to its nine to 10 millimetre thick aluminium base. The aluminium structure also guarantees a quick heat transition into the pan and an excellent and uniform heat distribution on the surface, allowing for even cooking throughout as a result of its efficient heat distribution and retention. It is the first cookware range to be awarded with an Energy Efficiency certificate 'Class A' from the German TUV.

The range has been developed in close association with the German National Culinary Team resulting in innovative, functional items. Heat-resistant handles (up to 240°C) allow for gratinating in the oven directly after frying on the hob without the need to switch cookware.

AMT Gastroguss cookware is produced piece by piece in an in-house foundry in Germany and is subjected to strict quality controls and continuous testing. The unique casting process creates a tension free microstructure, a prerequisite to guarantee the warp free base of our cookware. All further manufacturing procedures are performed on-site manually up to the finishing process with premium quality Lotan® non-stick coating. The high-quality non-stick surface, which is PFOA free, consists of four layers and contains ceramic particles to enhance the cooking experience and lifetime of the product. This plasma finishing is exceptionally tough and is extremely well suited for professionals and households alike.
