The awards, hosted at the Kempinski Seychelles Resort, recognise commitment to excellence and are voted for by travel and tourism professionals. This accolade was paired with SAA’s win for Africa’s Leading Airline, an award it’s now won for 21 consecutive years.

Ndalo Media has published Sawubona since 2013, entertaining passengers with compelling business, travel and lifestyle content and keeping them informed about their airline. The magazine competed with in-flight publications from across Africa and the Indian Ocean in this category.

“The award is a great affirmation of our efforts to bring travellers a top-quality publication, which we’ve done since we started publishing it. The accolade has inspired us to keep striving for new levels of excellence for the airline’s valued passengers,” says Ndalo Media CEO Khanyi Dhlomo.

Ingrid Wood, editor of Sawubona, says: “We’re absolutely delighted with this accolade, which we dedicate to the creative and hard-working teams at Ndalo Media and SAA Group Corporate Affairs who are responsible for putting the magazine together.”
