After their previous sold out shows it’s time to bring back some audience favourites and a few new sketches and characters you’re sure to love. This collection of short sketches pokes fun at gym classes, the habits of dating, wine tasting, loadshedding and much more.

Mother City Sketch is devised, written and directed by The Long Shots with additional material by Jessica Munna and Robin Hitchcock (previous Long Shot and member all-female troupe Frankly Scarlett based in Pittsburgh in the USA). MCS is the love child of Robin Hitchcock. She wrote, directed and performed in the first one and now it continues to live on while she’s away.

The Long Shots, who comprise the core cast of the show, have been performing improvised comedy in Cape Town since 2011, and are thrilled to branch out again into scripted material.

Mother City Sketch stars André Dinomancer Ballot, Rob Coutts, Pags Bantwana, Jason Delplanque, and guest appearances by Jessica Munna and Al Postman.
