“Throughout South Africa Premier Hotels and Resorts contributes greatly in supporting various communities and we are committed to community upliftment in the areas we operate in. We see great value in the work being done by Leamogetswe Safety Home and therefore decided to give back to this home in this years’ 67 Minutes initiative.” Says Sean Verdon, Premier Hotel Pretoria general manager.

The day kicked off at 11:00 as the team started preparing to feed 120 children. As the day progressed media, partners, Premier Hotel Pretoria staff and their families fed 380 young hungry mouths by 15:00. Fun activities such as face painting also brought smiles to these underprivileged children.

The spirit of giving didn’t stop there. Premier Hotel Pretoria donated an assortment of 368 pieces of bed linen, 130 towels, 50kg buckets of unused soaps, clothing etc. Hotel suppliers were also encouraged to participate in this initiative and donated nonperishable food which will feed the home for a month. Additional donations included sports equipment and 200kg of Diversey soap powder.
