“The mall advertising campaign is targeting residents within the Soweto area as well as shoppers who frequent Maponya Mall, to let them know that one of South Africa’s favourite brands has landed on their doorstep,” says Deshendri Smit, executive of sales and marketing for MallWorx.

The centre attracts 1.5 million shoppers each month. Utilising package inventory including hanging banners and escalators, the mall campaign is positioned close to the Nando’s restaurant to encourage feet through the doors.

The campaign will run for a period of two and a half months within the mall.
