Ntombekhaya’s story: Ntombekhaya Phandle has been a Big Issue vendor for eight years, but has been selling the magazine at Canal Walk since 2012. She joined The Big Issue to supplement her family’s income, but truly began to rely on her sales when she became a single mom.

Fezile’s story: Fezile Ntshebe is a fairly new vendor who needs all the support he can get while he builds up a loyal customer base. He joined The Big Issue in February when he lost his job as a security guard and his cousin, a fellow vendor, told him about the organisation.
