Deysel is currently both a DJ and technical producer at 947 Breakfast Xpress. “The Totalsports Women’s Race creates the opportunity to be active while supporting a great initiative. I will be entertaining runners and walkers as they pass through the Fedhealth Fan Zone on route. Hopefully I’ll be able to motivate them to finish the race smiling”.

Taking place at the Mary Fitzgerald Square, the Totalsports Women’s Race will feature a historical touch. Registration will take place at the Africa Museum. The route will follow Enoch Sontonga Street, named after Enoch Mankayi Sontonga the composer of Nkosi Sikelel' iAfrika. The route also goes through the suburb called Fietas, the only non-racial area during the apartheid era. The route will pass the oriental Plaza which is known as a shoppers dream destination.

Entrants will receive an exclusive fitted T-shirt, while finisher’s bracelets will be handed to all runners and walkers as they cross the finish line.

South African hip hop artist Kwesta will entertain runners and walkers once they’ve crossed the finish line.
