Sindhi, who also recently won the 2015 Cinemark Young Lions competition, where he represented SA at Cannes, attributes his success to working in an environment which incubates SA’s top creative talent, emphasises mentorship and never walking away from a decent challenge.

"Being awarded the Young Creatives Award is only thanks to the talented and inspiring people that I have been fortunate enough to work with and learn from over the years, especially my brilliant Art Director, Heidi Kasselman, without whom I would probably not be here today,” says Sindhi.

Over the past eight years Net#work BBDO has produced five Young Creatives winners, the majority of whom now hold top creative positions at agencies in SA and internationally. “What an honour to have these exceptional young people rising up through our ranks,” says BBDO chief creative head Mike Schalit. “We’re proud of the role we’ve played in the industry over the past 21 years in terms of nurturing young stars, and offering a platform off which no less than four leading breakaway agencies have been formed and continue to flourish.”

Sindhi and partner Heidi Kasselman have over the past few years been awarded at D&AD, Cannes and the Loerie Awards, as well as picking up a prestigious Loerie Grand Prix along the way. Their most recent work includes the Chicken Licken Bang Bang meal '15 Bucks' campaign.

Net#work BBDO ECD Brad Reilly says, “Saf continues the tradition of exceptional young talent that we have always prided ourselves on at Net#work BBDO and we are always very humbled that so many bright stars have chosen our agency to do their best work.”
