A+E Networks announces global premiere of documentaries into trials of O.J. Simpson

A+E Networks® has announced the global premiere of two 2-hour event specials that provide unprecedented access into the criminal and civil trials against O.J. Simpson.
Internationally, Crime + Investigation™ (CI) and A&E Network® will unveil The Secret Tapes of the O.J. Case: The Untold Story and O.J. Speaks: The Hidden Tapes across 125+ territories within a week of the 20th anniversary of the criminal trial verdict.
The Secret Tapes of the O.J. Case: The Untold Story will premiere on Crime + Investigation™ in South Africa on Tuesday, 6 October at 21:00, and O.J. Speaks: The Hidden Tapes on Tuesday, 13 October at 21:00.
On 3 October 1995, the "trial of the century" culminated with Simpson's acquittal on the charges of the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman. Two decades later, shocking recordings and interviews, much of which have never been heard until now, are revealed in the new Crime + Investigation™ and A&E documentaries. Lawrence Schiller, filmmaker, author and close confidant to Robert Kardashian, shares his unique and exclusive access into the case and trials against Simpson.
The Secret Tapes of the O.J. Case: The Untold Story reveals new insights into both the events surrounding the verdict of the criminal trial, and the various disturbing facets of Simpson’s personality, through never before heard statements by Simpson himself. The documentary exposes disturbing realities about his thoughts, feelings and behavior before, during and after the trial. And, for the first time in 20 years, an audio recording that Simpson secretly taped, prior to the infamous Bronco Chase, is heard. The special features rare interviews with key players on both sides of the case, including extensive, candid discussions with Robert Kardashian and Kris Kardashian Jenner.
O.J. Speaks: The Hidden Tapes provides unique access to the civil trial, which found Simpson responsible for the wrongful deaths of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman. Viewers gain exclusive access to the plaintiffs’ deposition tapes from the civil trial – which were locked away and buried in a storage warehouse for nearly 20 years.
Executive producers, Stephen Auerbach and Chuck Braverman, worked closely with Fred Goldman to obtain the revealing and insightful deposition tapes. Family members, including Fred, and members of the civil trial legal team, including Daniel Petrocelli, are interviewed exclusively for the special.
The Secret Tapes of the O.J. Case: The Untold Story and O.J. Speaks: The Hidden Tapes are produced for A+E Networks by ABS Productions.
