With over eight years’ experience in PR, social media and design she has worked on publicising a selection of leading brands such as the Nelson Mandela Square, Nando’s, Peppadew, Sodastream and Without Masks (Cuban Art Exhibition) and just to name a few.

Schalkwyk studied Corporate Communications at the University of Johannesburg and then earned an honours degree in Visual Communications at Vega specialising in Design and she has an innate love for social media.

Moving up from her position as PR account director of Grey Africa, in her new role, Schalkwyk will now take full responsibility for managing the PR and Social teams, directing all respective operations, overseeing strategies for Grey’s current and potential clients including Dulux Paints, Tabasco, Consol Glass, Gillette, Venus, Car Track, Power Optimal, Nespresso, Volvo, Pantene and Tudor watches.
