This year, the renowned producer is homegrown superstar, HHP, who will oversee production of the winning artists single. Jägermeister SA have also vastly increased the prize to include a music video, a live event and a one year music contract with the Jager Music programme, which will see the winner playing live at festivals around the country.

The voting carries on in rounds, with the first round being open to all. Then the next round is only the top 56, right down to the top 10, when a panel of music industry veterans will choose five artists to go through to a live event for final judging.
This format is designed to see all elements of an artist, particularly whether they can stand up and perform in front of thousands.
