While previously only the DIY Trade News team judged the awards, this year voting was open to all members of the industry with nominations placed in the
DIY Trade News magazine as well as online. There are 12 categories people could vote in, namely Advert of the Year, Advertising Campaign of the Year, Power Tool Company of the Year, Paint Company of the Year, Hand Tool Company of the Year, Outdoor Company of the Year, Wholesaler of the Year, Supplier of the Year, Industry Person of the Year, Group of the Year, Trade Day of the Year, Proudly SA Award.
