The company recently ordered both a maize and a sugarcane Z-CARD®, each with a double cover, which was housed in a BASF branded calculator.

“The cards were distributed to farmers and distributor agents within the maize and sugarcane market across South Africa, as part of the BASF marketing campaign for 2012,” says Caria Badenhorst, communication manager: Crop Protection, BASF South Africa.

“They promote the BASF maize and sugarcane product range, and were used as a marketing tool to emphasise the value that the solution offers these farmers,” she adds.

The cards were produced in Afrikaans on one side and English on the other, ensuring relevance to the target markets.
