Jungle bringing back Crunchalots for kids
Jungle is bringing back the fun into breakfast, with its new cereal for kids - Jungle Crunchalots. The cereal, which remains crunchy from start to finish, comes in a choice of either chocolate or honey flavoured oat crispies, and is a source of certain key micronutrients giving kids some of the fuel they need to get through their day.
Jungle Crunchalots is a source of vitamin A, calcium and iron and is high in vitamins BI, B2, B6, B12 and Niacin, which provide nutrients that the body requires to function. It is also high in dietary fibre. With its colourful packaging and friendly Crunchalots mascot, Cerealot, featured on the box, Jungle Crunchalots appeals to growing minds and makes breakfast delicious and enjoyable.
“As part of the launch, shoppers can receive a branded Crunchalots cereal bowl when purchasing two or more packs of this new offering from Jungle at participating retail outlets nationwide,” says Precious Nkwane, brand manager of Jungle.
With kids being a subject close to the heart of Jungle, the launch of Crunchalots was celebrated by inviting children from ACFS Community Education and Feeding Scheme home to a special viewing of the movie, Justin and the Knights of Valour, at Maponya Mall on Saturday, 7 December. Crunchalots hosted well known personalities, making the occasion an unforgettable experience for the ACFS Community Education & Feeding Scheme children.
“The event was a delightful outing with guests being treated to a movie while meeting Cerealot, who is attending the venue. Guests were invited to bring a toy to be donated to the ACFS Community Education and Feeding Scheme children.
As part of the launch, guests at the movie found out about an exciting new cell phone app which includes an audio-visual story of Cerealot living in the Crunchalots Jungle. The app which features engaging activities for children, provides the opportunity to win prizes for the whole family.
Cerealot and promoters are going to be visiting other cinemas in Gauteng on Saturday, 7 and Saturday, 14 December. These cinemas include: Carnival City, Carlton Centre, Cresta, Eastgate, Brooklyn, Fourways, Greenstone, Northgate, Rosebank, Sandton, Southgate and Maponya Mall. Moreover movie goers had the opportunity to learn about the new app and the exhilarating adventures which the app provides.
“Jungle has a rich heritage of providing breakfast solutions, supplying the necessary energy to get through the day. This is now further expanded through the launch of Crunchalots, which together with the app, is set to introduce a new dimension to the breakfast experience,” concludes Nkwane.
