The independently-owned hotel group says they brought on these two men in effort to continue to expand in South Africa. They have faith that Sandham and Campbell will drive these growth plans.

Sandham brings to the group 23 years of experience within the hospitality industry, Premier Hotels & Resorts says his expertise and fresh approach to the business will play a key role in solidifying the group’s status in South Africa. “The company owes its success to the entrepreneurial drive of Mr. Samuel Nassimov who is a visionary and someone that I admire,” says Sandham. “Who would not want to join a company that is growing by the day?”

He says he hopes to see each person in the group become their own success story and an inspiration to others.

With over 10 years of experience within the sales, marketing and brand management spheres, Campbell has worked with some of South Africa’s leading brands on numerous marketing and branding projects. The group believes he possesses the energy, insight and skill that allows him to steer various projects successfully.

“2016 marks the 25th birthday of Premier Hotels & Resorts and a number of my initial goals are tied to celebrating our incredible business growth from a small 40 room hotel in East London to the national hospitality group it is today,” says Campbell.

As part of the expansion goals, Campbell will be spearheading various customer focused campaigns. “We have a loyal customer base and refining the group’s loyalty programme to provide these customers with genuine value, innovative benefits and easily accessible rewards is something I am looking forward to,” says Campbell. “Parallel to the development of the Premier Royalty Club will be a brand refresh and significant development of the Premier Hotels & Resorts website, social media and overall digital presence. Ultimately, I want to put Premier Hotels & Resorts in the forefront of people’s minds as they look to book business and leisure trips,” he concludes.

Premier Hotels & Resorts has acquired three new hotels this year and apparently have a number of developments and acquisitions already in the pipe line for 2016. Campbell and Sandham will be focusing their marketing initiatives on firmly establishing the business as an international hospitality group, with a uniquely South African soul, within the next five years.
