Good Hope FM’s Nigel Pierce wants your toys for underprivileged children again this November.

Good Hope FM and Nigel Pierce’s Toy-Toy is back, with The Nigel Pierce Show from Monday to Friday; from 06:00 to 09:00, broadcasting live from the offices of various corporates across Cape Town from Monday, 3 November. Toy-Toy is encouraging employees from these companies to donate cash, or new or used - but not damaged - toys, to spread some cheer to less fortunate kids these holidays.

With the campaign raising over R1-million and over 1 000 crates of toys during the past two years, Pierce is hoping the city will once again open their hearts and prove why Good Hope FM is all about caring and “connecting Cape Town”.

“We do this for the kids! The biggest reward of this campaign is when you see the smiles on the kids’ faces, when you deliver the toys collected from the corporates and our listeners,” explains Nigel.

Meegan Kieffer, Good Hope FM"s Marketing Manager, adds: “we are inspired every year by the tremendous spirit of Capetonians, how they get together and help to support the kids, and bring some joy to their lives.”

Throughout November, the Good Hope FM breakfast team, which comprises Nigel Pierce, Mark Marshall on sport and Sandra Rosenberg on news, will broadcast live from different companies every weekday from 06:00 to 09:00, encouraging employees to bring toys to work or make a cash donation.
