Reunite with bloody zombies on TopTV this Valentine's Day
Media 10
The countdown has begun. This Valentine’s Day, the only red TV audiences will see is blood and gore, delivered by our scintillating zombies, once again. South Africa will be re-invaded by The Walking Dead 2, returning on Tuesday, 14 February at 21:15 on FX, channel 110 on TopTV.
The cult series is based on the Robert Kirkland graphic novel series set in a post-apocalyptic world, and resumes for another eight episodes. The show is about a small band of survivors, led by Georgia deputy sheriff Rick Grimes (Love Actually) as they search for a new home in desolate US, away from the horde of walkers or undead.
At every turn there's the threat of zombie attacks as the group faces the challenge of survival in the face of a changing group dynamic; a changing world.
Fox Africa director, Thandi Davids, said that the return of the second season was a welcomed development. “Our viewers have been waiting patiently for a chance to re-connect with their favourite show, and we are pleased that they needn’t wait any longer.”
“The earlier announcement regarding the renewal of the series for a third season, with an impressive 16 episodes, is true testament of how well the property is doing," she added.
