His career has also taken off in the US with songwriting stints with Rod Stewart, opening for the likes of Lionel Ritchie and more recently working on musical scores for two new films. Aldo is also scheduled to guest on NBC's
Late Night with Jimmy Fallon TV show in April.
In mid-2011, David decamped to Nashville to write and record
Halfway to Memphis, his eighth solo album. Working with a stellar cast of co-writers and the cream of Nashville’s musicians, including members of Lady Antebellum's touring band, Aldo has crafted what is arguably his most accomplished and personal album to date.
