BBC Knowledge to air second season of Fatal Attractions

What drives people to bring deadly animals into their homes? What dangerous mix of obsession, loneliness and desire causes them to live with pets that have the potential to kill? The second season of Fatal Attractions, which airs from Sunday, 24 November at 19:00 on BBC Knowledge, channel 184 on DStv, examines the most extraordinary pet attacks.
Stories in series two include that of a school teacher who quit his job so that he could buy and train an Asian elephant, and the story of Tania, who formed a strong bond with the lions and tigers owned by animal trainer and entertainer, Kim Carlton.
Speaking to witnesses, experts and – in some cases – survivors, this series explores the psychology of these fatal attractions and looks at the chain of events before, during and after the attacks. Investigating the motives, the films unlock what triggered the animals’ behaviour and the choices people made that determined their fate.
The second season of Fatal Attractions airs from Sunday, 24 November at 19:00 on BBC Knowledge, channel 184 on DStv.
