BZN, which stands for Band Zonder Naam, was formed in 1966 when a group of friends from the Dutch town of Volendam started making music together. Eleven years later, after a few line-up changes, the band had their major breakthrough with Mon Amour which remained at the top of the charts for more than five weeks.

Since their first hit, BZN has remained well-loved and relevant, producing hit after hit and cementing themselves in history as the most popular Dutch group in existence. In 2005, four BZN members were issued a Dutch order of chivalry for their contributions to music history.

Although the band called it quits in 2007, the duo of Schilder and Keizer continued their success story with the 2010 album Together Again and now their Greatest Hits world tour.

“BZN has an enormous South African fan base,” says Llewelyn du Plessis, production coordinator of Stars in SA, the production company responsible for bringing them to our shores. “We’ve scheduled shows all over the country to ensure that nobody misses out on this amazing event for young and old.”

Featuring SABC2 presenter and singer Nádine, and kykNET presenter and singer Gerrie Pretorius as special guests, BZN will perform with a live band at venues in the Western Cape, Northern Cape, Free State and Gauteng.
