Soul Sundays is a new music chat show, which started on Sunday, 9 March, on SABC1 at 13:00.

Soul Sundays
melds the format of beloved romantic, relaxed and deep voiced radio shows that are so popular with the people of South Africa. Part of the show will feature music videos and the other half will feature a lively chat between the guest and the presenter. Two of the music videos will be chosen by viewers via fax, e-mail or SMS.

The music show is presented by South African musician Ayanda Mpama, of South African Idols fame.

The show features a video line-up of 80’s R&B jams and smooth jazz. The show will also add a touch of the new school sounds, like modern slow jams from Beyonce, Justin Timberlake and Ciara. Soul Sundays will also air South African hits, from the likes of Letta and Caiphus, Simphiwe Dana, MXO and Unathi.
